The metamorphosis of the entrance to Amsterdam

Max Bögl & Count & Cooper

The city side of Amsterdam Central station is undergoing a complete metamorphosis. The area will be renewed from Stationsgebouw to Damrak and from Schreierstoren to Westertoegang.

There will be more water, more green and more space for pedestrians and cyclists. A bicycle parking with space for more than 7,000 bicycles will be built under the Open Harbor Front.

Count & Cooper won the tender for this complex project with Max Bögl & Partners and is now carrying out the realisation together.
