Count & Cooper is serious about daring. As a participating project advisor, we are project leaders for major infrastructural renewals and public construction projects. We are looking for a Project Lead with the ambition to shake up the construction world.
Count & Cooper is a young player with a disruptive model. Our teams work day in, day out, on a top sports climate for innovation, integration and cooperation. We provide manpower, expertise and technology with which we structure and advance technical tasks.
We plan four-dimensionally, have expertise in all aspects of management and first build all our projects virtually (3D coupled with planning) before we get started outside.
We are continuously investigating how we can remodel the construction world, with which we work towards a more efficient and flexible model that suits our current society. As the flywheel of a paradigm shift, we are one of the fastest growing players in the construction world. We are looking for an ambitious Project Lead to initiate and supervise new projects.
Count & Cooper is risk-bearing in a consortium and therefore has an intrinsic motivation to research how project delivery can add the greatest value. We exclusively opt for large and complex tenders and implementation projects and innovation in the field of project delivery.
We are also investigating our own model and how we can improve our market position and we identify new commercial opportunities in both the tender phase and the implementation phase. An example of this is our recent award with the VEENIX consortium for the construction of the A9.
Our projects are divided into different stages and issues. Our Project Leads are multidisciplinary, because they have to quickly convert the output to be delivered to the correct quality criteria and transfer it to the right teams.
Because we are building a new model for integrated project delivery, our Project Leads are not only busy with leading a tender or execution, but also, together with other Project Leads and Partners, are looking for opportunities in the market and prospects.
The profile of our ideal candidate is a particularly ambitious person with a completed technical university education and at least eight years of work experience in the construction sector (project management, implementation, consultancy).
You stand out in your current position, but notice that you're hitting the boundaries of your current ambitions. You have strategic ideas about project delivery and implement them, but you notice that where you had hoped for cooperation, fear reigns. You want to make plans that build a world of tomorrow, both for outdoor space and for project management, by letting a team perform at its best. You want to build impact, work on the world of tomorrow.
And above all, you are authentic in leadership and a sense of responsibility, and you understand when to challenge and inspire your team, or protect it against too much pressure from outside.
Human capital is our most important asset, in which we continuously invest. Every co-worker receives a training program through our Count & Cooper Academy for theoretical deepening, skills and personal leadership.
For Project Leads, this means an annual three-day High Performance Leadership training with senior management and two days a year of training in the field of self-knowledge, personal development and influence. Four days a year you will receive intensive training in the field of successful leadership and coaching of others.
Everyone at Count & Cooper also receives a professional field program ten times a year, in which mentors and professionals give workshops, master classes, workshops and practical modules. Six times a year our employees participate in an extensive intervision program, in which you openly enter into a discussion with your colleague Project Leads about challenges in the field and personal skills.
We only participate in large and complex projects, in which we take the lead ourselves. This means that we have a lot of responsibility, which we divide over various key positions for team members. That is why Count & Cooper works with a job structure model, in which employees grow along the same path.
We want and believe that with the right guidance, a Project Lead will grow with us in two to three years into a Senior Project Lead and subsequently chooses to become a Project Manager or Business Lead, whether or not in partnership. We believe that all the people we hire are getting better at what they do and can get further and further at it. That is why we only hire seniors in whom we see growth potential and the will to continue to develop.
