In September 2020 I met Count & Cooper for the first time. As a graduate I saw how they presented their vision and ambitions about digitizing construction projects at a major conference. Immediately after the conference, I took the plunge and approached them to graduate with them. Not much later I was sitting at the table brainstorming about how I could contribute to Count & Cooper's ambitions. This led me to graduate on a tool that predicts environmental nuisance based on project planning. This period has made me enthusiastic, so that I am now a proud project analyst!
"From graduate to professional."
I am now active in the VEENIX Virtual team on the A9 and I am part of the DPM team (digital project management). Here we create digital environments based on project data with new insights that enable the business to make better decisions. Within C&C I experience an enormous openness within the team. By speaking up and showing initiative, I get involved in many things. In addition to my work on the project, I seized the opportunity to dedicate myself more broadly to the company. For example, as a starter I am involved in the employee satisfaction survey and I am active in organizing project-transcending themed afternoons for knowledge sharing. This diversity in activities, the enthusiasm and the drive with which everyone fulfills their role, give me a lot of energy.
Count & Cooper is a company that strives for change in the construction world through innovation and digitization. Yet people are central to this and that appeals to me enormously. There is a lot of attention for the personal development of the people with whom we want to bring about this change. Through good guidance and coaching, there is a lot of focus on the well-being and development of people. What strikes me is that during training courses the dedication to the subjects and the openness of colleagues is enormous, which creates solidarity within the organization and we strive for Building New Ways together.
